A Moment For Milo

it is with extremely heavy hearts that we share this news with all of you. many of you know our organization is named after milo our founders dog. milo was trained and registered as a therapy dog through pet partners in 2016. since then, he has served our stamford community as a therapy dog for 9 years.
over the years, milo has changed the outcome of countless moments and touched more lives than we could ever measure. we’ve watched him help people overcome fears, find comfort during hardship, and feel seen when they needed it most.
recently, we learned that milo has developed a highly aggressive bone cancer. the truth is, we don’t know how much time we have left with him.
we wanted to give our community the chance to come say goodbye to our good boy. join us one last time, this sunday, 2-3 at Just A Peace Giftshop (990 hope street, stamford ) as we honor milo’s life and the individuals he’s impacted. it would mean the world to the Seeger family, our team, and to milo. 💜🐾

Harry Bennett Local Author Series: Sophia Seeger

For Epilepsy Awareness Month, Sophia Seeger, accompanied by her therapy dog Milo, will read her new children's book Milo&Me: Learn about Absence Epilepsy. The book teaches kids of all ages about epilepsy awareness while helping those with epilepsy to feel seen.

Be Like Olivia Blanket Making Night
Friday, Feb 7th at 6:30- 700 Canal St, First Floor
In honor of our good friend Olivia Allen, who recently gained her wings in October 2024, we will be hosting a blanket making night to provide blankets to epilepsy patients through our care package program the way Olivias organization did before us. A portion of the proceeds (or blankets) will go to Olivias non-profit Warm Blanket Hugs.
